This 4 Days Private Morocco Tour from Fes via Merzouga dunes, begins in Fes and ends in Marrakech, which you will spend 1 night in a luxury desert camp. We will also visit Ait Ben Haddou, Todra and Dades gorges and Ouarzazate.

ITINERARY

 

DAY
1

Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes

At 8:00 a.m we pick you up for your 4 days Fez to Marrakech via the Sahara desert of Merzouga. We leave for Midelt through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the cedar forests of Azrou, We pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort, a very clean city in Morocco, we arrive in Midelt for lunch.
At the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud and into the desert of Merzouga, an hour camel ride through the dunes of erg Chebbi, a nice spot for the sunset, check in your luxury tent in the desert, dinner by the bonfire, local drumming and dance, overnight stay.

2

Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Vally and Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

Early morning in order to see the sunrise over the dunes, breakfast at the camp, camel ride back to Merzouga, depart to Rissani to visit the souks and meet the locals, continuing to Thinjdad palm groves, arrival to Todra vally around lunch time, stops along the route, a walk at Todra Gorge to admire the place, in the afternoon you will drive to Dades gorges via Boumalne and the Dades valley. Dinner and overnight in a Hotel.

3

Dades Gorge – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou

Breakfast at the hotel, a scenic drive by the dades valley, the track raod crossing rose valley with its Kasbah and ksours, in this part you can see very nice landscapes before you get to the rose vally and to El Kalaa de Mgouna, stop by the nomads living in caves, lunch in the way, afternoon departure to the palme groves of skoura and visit it’s massive oasis of millions of palm trees, carry on to Ouarzazate to visit Taourirt Kasbah and then to Ait Ben Haddou for the night in a beautiful Kasbah. Dinner and over night in hotel.

4

Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we go and visit the kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city’, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara desert and Marrakech. It is situated on a hill along the Ounila valley River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. After the visit we will continue to Marrakech with a detour to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and visit the Kasbah el Glaoui, crossing the high Atlas mountain. Drop off in your hotel.
