ITINERARY
DAY
1
Fes – Cedar Forest in Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes
At 8:00 a.m we pick you up for your 4 days Fez to Marrakech via the Sahara desert of Merzouga. We leave for Midelt through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the cedar forests of Azrou, We pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort, a very clean city in Morocco, We arrive in Midelt for lunch. At the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud and into the desert of Merzouga, Dinner and overnight in a hotel at the foothills of Erg chebbi sahara dunes.

2
Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Nomads and Gnoua – hidden oasis – camel ride
After breakfast we head to Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, continue through an off-track road used by the famous Paris Dakar Rallys, then stop to have tea with nomads in Nomadic berber tents, you will discover a new sense of life from there and also enjoy a berber pizza for lunch, visit the gardens in Merzouga and learn about the water canal irrigation sytem, go and stop by the coal minnes and old berber villages.
Back to the hotel to relax before starting your camel trek into the middle of the dunes to catch the sunset, then after you will arrive at the camp, enjoy a mint tea, you will be shown to your beautiful tents with ensuite bathroom and hot shower while dinner is being prepared. After dinner, you can enjoy a musical play by the staff around the bonfire and under the starry night sky, overnight stay.

3
Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorge
Wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise, where the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight, breakfast at the camp, camel ride back to Merzouga, drive to Dades Gorge via Rissani and stop at it’s traditional open big market for a visit.
Continue to the Todra Vally and it’s Gorges which is an ideal place for walking and exploring on your own. Have lunch at the spot then drive to Dades Vally and to the Monkey fingers Vally, admire the sights, reach Dades Gorge, explore the area, check in the Riad, dinner and overnight stay.

Dades Gorge – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech
We head to Aït Ben Haddou, a ‘fortified city’, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. It is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, Visit the Kasbah, we then continue to Marrakech over the high Atlas mountains, stops along the spectacular Tizi Ntichka pass, drop off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
