A two days Private Morocco Tour from Marrakech to Zagora with a night in our camp in the heart of the Sahara starting in Marrakech and ending in Marrakech.
ITINERARY
DAY
1
Marrakech – Tizi Ntichka pass – High Atlas mountains – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Zagora dunes.
Our English speaking driver will pick you up at 08:00 am from your accommodation and travel through the scenic magical Atlas Mountains and Tizi N Tichka Pass while enjoying the superb views of the berber villages and green larch vallys, you will be amazed by the beauty of this impressive pass.
The High Atlas Mountains are surrounded by beautiful landscapes. On arrival in Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will have lunch and visit the kasbah with a local guide.
Later on we will continue our 2 day desert tour to Zagora through Draa Valley to reach Zagora desert, you will be dropped off by camels, an hour camel ride into the zagora desert sand dunes, catch the sunset.
Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars while listining to berbers playing and singing around the bonfire, tent overnight stay.
DAY
2
Zagora – Draa valley – Ouarzazate – High Atlas mountains – Marrakech.
As you awake early, you are greeted by the attractive sight of the sunlight rising over the small dunes of the Zagora desert.
This is accompanied by a typical breakfast in the bivouac of Zagora. The final part is the camel ride to meet your driver and travel back to Marrakech via the same route, free time in Ouarzazate for lunch in one of the local restaurants and also a visit to the famous Kasbah of Taourirt (optional).
Drive via the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi Ntichka pass, drop off in Marrakech, end of our Sahara Desert 2 day tour from Marrakech to Zagora Desert.
